Mason drew 9th out of 11 cars for the 6-lap heat race. Within the first couple of laps, Mason had raced his way to 3rd position. He passed everyone to win the race. Unfortunately, however, due to inclement weather, Mason was unable to race in the main event. This race has been postponed until Saturday, March 1 where he will race in two events that weekend when the GA Winter Series returns to Cordele.

Good job, Mason, on winning your heat race. Mason will race this Saturday, February 2, at Atlanta Motor Speedway on the Road Course.
